Tar Trap Removal Tool. MAHOGANY. Invented, Royally Tested, and Made by Yours Truly. Hole for lid screw for easy re-installation of the tar trap while pipe is upside down

Make sure you remove the "poker", that holds the tar trap in.
On a solid surface, Place your Proto Pipe on the wooden pipe holder so that the trap is centered over the 9/16" hole.
Place the poker into the center hole of the bowl.
Using hammer or similar item, tap the Poker until it is out.
Print Proto Pipe Cleaning Instructions and clean your pipe. Turn Pipe upside down with lid closed and screw in small hole. Start the trap by hand with the 2 dots aligned. Use the wooden part of the hammer, or similar item to replace the tar trap to prevent denting it.
I suggest using a small amount of Vaseline (or if its leaking see below) to lubricate the trap before re-install for future removal and cleaning.

Uses A Standard Poker. If the trap is way tight, plan on using a poker or 2 only for tar trap removal, as the end will mushroom out. Start in center hole, then move poker to all the other holes if necessary.

* Every Pipe is hand made, and the traps are sanded flush with the main body. The fit is so precise it may appear the trap is not even there.

Please read the cleaning instructions before telling me they forgot to drill out the hole for the trap! IT REALLY IS THERE!

If your Tar Trap is wearing out, and Tar is leaking out the bottom, This product can be bought at any Auto Parts Store. Put masking tape on the top and bottom,. then spray sides of Tar Trap with the copper coat and re-assemble.
